PC Sales Charts Dominated By War

This week’s PC sales charts see Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II on top of Steam once again, while Hearts of Iron III sneaks into both the Steam and Direct2Drive charts.Surprisingly, Dawn of War II has completely dropped off the Direct2Drive list, which has shifted around rather a lot. Champions Online pre-orders and Fallout 3 have both overtaken The Sims 3 to claim the top two spots, and while the top three spots in Steam are the same as last week, the fourth spot marks an appearance for newcomer strategy title Hearts of Iron III – which also debuts well in the Direct2Drive charts.Aion pre-orders come in second on the Steam charts as with last week, while they’ve dropped four places to eighth on the Direct2Drive charts. If Aion’s what you’re interested in, then check out our weekly previews from MMO editor Bill Vaughan.
