Silent Hunter Online surfaces for another developer diary

Silent Hunter Online

Ok, yes, a free-to-play, browser-based game about Submarine management and combat might be the definition of niché appeal, but Silent Hunter is at least a series with a bit of clout to it. At least … it used to be. Who knows what the spooky realms of free-to-play and micro-transactions have done to it.

This new Silent Hunter Online developer diary steers carefully away from any discussions of online stores or ‘pay to win,’ but you can tell when things like different submarines are mentioned that you’re either going to have to be grinding out virtual currency or stumping up real cash for them.

Time will tell. And if submarine captains should be good at anything, it’s patiently waiting for an opportune moment.
