New games galore fight for headline space amid a flood of NGP news.
Starting with an apology and ending with pricing details for their new handheld, the PSVita (formerly the NGP), Sony’s E3 2011 press conference was a rollercoaster of announcements that eclipsed the others in terms of excitement, drama and ‘new stuff’.
The biggest stories to come out of the event dealt with the games and features coming to the PSVita, which will come in both 3G and Wi-FI editions. AT&T will be the exclusive carriers for the 3G in the US, news on carriers for other territories is promised soon. We knew it wouldn’t be cheap, and that has been confirmed, the system is priced at $250/$300 for the 3G/WiFi editions respectively.
