Stalker 2 still in development

Encouraging news from the Stalker 2 Facebook page, which states “The Stalker team is extremely happy! Why? Because we are continuing work on Stalker 2 after the holidays”. There were concerns for the series back in December, because it seemed very much as if developer GCS Worlds was shutting its doors.
However, a message towards the end of the month asked fans to look out for a message of hope in mid-January and that message appears to be that development is still underway. This seems to suggest that GCS Worlds still exists in some form or another, even if they’re simply trying to get a Stalker 2 concept together in the hope of raising some capital.
Still, for now things seem ok on the Stalker front. We’ll bring you any more news about the health of the series, or GCS Worlds, as it emerges.
