If you’d been dithering about whether or not to splash out on the Collector’s Edition of Star Trek Online, this latest offer might just be the extra little push you need.
Cryptic Studios and Atari are offering the standard edition for $39.99 USD, ten dollars less than the usual price. On top of that, an extra 60 days of free game time is being thrown in for good measure on both the regular game and the Collector’s Edition. Excellent news indeed if you haven’t bought the CE already. Not so good if you were keen enough to buy it back when it first went on sale, as many STO players have pointed out.
To take advantage of this offer, which appears to only be available to US residents at the moment, you must buy the game before 21:00 PST on Wednesday 3 March.
