It’s not quite a release date, but after South Park: The Stick of Truth’s switch from the sinking financial ship of THQ to Ubisoft’s shiny decks, the news that the game is still coming out this year is reassuring to hear.
After a brief trailer in which Randy Smith (Stan’s dad) teaches the player character a deadly fart move (hey, it’s South Park,) Cartman himself confirmed that Obsidian’s RPG will be coming “this holiday season.”
“Or some holiday season, anyway” he adds. “You know how videogames are.”
Assuming it manages to stay on course, that probably means November 2013.
