Warhammer 40K MMO uncertain due to THQ’s financial situation

THQ has said that they’re being “realistic” over the future of MMO Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millennium Online. The game’s released is planned for the fiscal year ending 31 March, 2014.
However, it will only come to fruition if THQ can find a financial investor to team up with.
“Because of the large financial commitment and associated risks, we are being realistic about our resources and we are actively seeking a partner for this compelling new MMO,” THQ CEO Brian Farrell said during an investor call.
“We will keep you updated on our progress,” promised Farrell.
Dark Millennium Online is being developed by Vigil Games and Relic Entertainment. Vigil are most famous for their work on the Darksiders games, while Relic are responsible for Company of Heroes and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War.
