Blizzard Confirm Art Director Departure

This evening Blizard has confirmed that Art Director Brian Morrisroe has left the company.Earlier today Blizzard posted a new job opening for a new Diablo 3 Art Director and have subsequently issued a statement confirming the departure of Art Director Brian Morrisroe.”Regarding Brian, he recently resigned to form a startup technologycompany (outside the game industry), which is why we’ve posted aboutthe open position. This change won’t impact the game…we’re reallypleased with the look and feel that Brian helped create for Diablo III,and the new person we bring onboard will work with the other artists onthe team to maintain the art style moving forward.”Everything appears to be on track despite Brian’s departure, and if you sit in the “it’s too colourful” camp and thought this may mean art changes, then I’m afraid that’s not going to tbe the case. Thanks Diii.Net
