Launch a Gang War in Max Payne 3 [Video]

A second wave of multiplayer gameplay from Max Payne 3 has emerged from Rockstar’s ever-busy PR team, giving us a closer look at the ‘Gang War’ multiplayer mode, special ‘Burst’ powers and a little information about joining Crews.
In Gang War, it seems the game-type will differ slightly depending upon your performance in the previous rounds. Win the first one, for example, and now you’ll be defending your territory against a dastardly bomb plot. If you defuse all the bombs you’ll gain the upper hand in the next round, but if you lose, you’ll be much worse off (and might not have any hands).
Burst powers will give you the chance to unleash special abilities, such as causing the opposing player to drop all of his explosives (oops) or blending in with the enemy team with ‘Sneaky’.
Learn about all of that (with accompanying footage) in the video below.
Max Payne 3 is due for Xbox 360 and PS3 release on 15/18 May (US/EU respectively). It comes out for PC on 29 May/1 June. A whole wodge of multiplayer DLC has just been announced for the game, which you can read about here.
