CAVE Co. Ltd, maker of danmaku shooters Deathsmiles, Espgaluda and Dodonpachi, seem to be calling it quits on the West. The company has announced they are closing their English language Twitter account and directing announcements to their Japan account.

It’s not quite a dignified end for the cult developer, but if it keeps them in business things might be better that way. Hopefully, a more successful localization company like Marvelous AQL can bring their games back to the West in the future.
