The game has just opened its doors but GGG has hit snag with their master server shortly after launch but they managed to bring it back online quickly and everything should be running fine.

Ascendancy brings a whole new way to play with the introducciton of Acedancy classed which is a new way to specialise the existing classes. Each class comes with three Ascendancy sub classes bring a total of 19 to the game. Players can only gain access to these by taking on  Lord Izarom’s Labyrinth

The expansion focuses around Lord Izarom who was banished to a labyrinth long before players first entered Wraeclast. It’s in this labyrinth players will have to defeat Lord Izarom and experience a true dungeon crawl avoiding traps and there’s plenty of secrets to uncover. The labyrinth is also randomly generated and will change every day.

Players have to compelte six trials before entering the labyrinth which are practice trials to test skills against the traps before the main event.

As with all POE updates, there’s a load of new patch notes to digest on the official site.
