It has been announced by Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb that the Xbox One will soon support external storage. Hryb announced the news on Reddit where he said: “External game storage is coming soon….I need to check on media support,” Make the jump to find out more.
In the thread, Hryb also confirmed that there would be no updates on regional voice commands and also explained that the idea of having Kinect security cameras would be problematic. The Xbox One has had no external storage support since it was launched last year though Microsoft did say it would be coming. It seems the time is finally upon us.
