Conan Exiles

Conan Exiles talks kinky domination in latest trailer

Funcom’s latest Conan Exiles video is all about the ways in which you can dominate your fellow open-world survivalists. It’s not quite whips and ball-gags, but there is a fair amount of leather involved, as well as the series favourite ‘wheel of pain’.

There’s a bit of a look at the combat, and much emphasis on the gore and limb-hacking possible in the game. You won’t just face threats from other players out in the wilds, but also animals, ancient demonic creatures, and hostile NPCs. Looks like you can capture some of those, though, as the trailer explains some of the ‘thrall’ system (nab a likely looking goon, ‘break’ them on the wheel of pain, and they might turn out to be a good guard for your base).

As seen in prior Conan Exiles videos, the gigantic, deity avatars make a return here too. The massive snake and Greek Titan-like chaps appear again, as does a somewhat Lovecraftian squad beast. There’s an accompanying blog if you’d like to know more about this sort of thing. Conan Exiles will be in Early Access on PC at the end of this month; 31 January.
