Torn Banner Studios’ combat and magic title Mirage: Arcane Warfare has now been given a closed beta date.
The closed beta will kick off on 27 March and instant access will be granted to those who have pre-ordered the game. This will expands on a focused testing pool who have been testing the game since last year under NDA.
The closed beta will include the following:
- Six playable character classes ranging from the ghostly Vypress assassin to the hulking Taurant, all with customizable magic ability loadouts and hundreds of voice emotes
- First reveal of new character, the Entropist – a jolly, portly mage imbued with terrifying, often hilarious powers who rides a flying carpet and wields a magic staff
- 10+ maps available throughout the Beta period, each playable in multiple game modes including Team Objective, Point Capture, Capture-the-Flag and more
- Automatic matchmaking to pair players of the same skill level, or classic server browser
Pre-orders will also unlock a few rewards including a 10% discount for anyone who already owns Chivalry: Medieval Warfare on Steam. Pre-ordering the standard edition costs €27,99 EUR / £22.99 and the Special Edition which costs €36.99 EUR / £29.99 comes with a few in-game extras and a free copy of the Chivalry: Medieval Warfare Complete Edition.
