Devolver Digital and developer Slocap have now set a release date for their online multiplayer combat RPG Absolver. The game will arrive on 29 August.

To celebrate the news, a new trailer has been released to show the game’s different fighting methods and abilities. Players will start by choosing one of three combat styles and more can be discovered in the world of Adal. These include Forsaken, Kahlt, and Windfall.
The video also shows the Combat deck which is an inventory of attacks used when fighting. These comprise of four combat stances with each stance having different attacks. Combining all these elements, players can create their own fighting style.
It looks quite complex but with a controller in hand, the combat should flow.
