Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes Announced For Fall 2014

Disney has announced Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes, a new “2.0 Edition” game launching Fall 2014 on all previous platforms (Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and mobile), and also coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for the first time. It also doesn’t look like a Wii or 3DS version will be available this year.  New charaters teased in the new trailer are Hawkeye, Hulk, Winter Soldier, Iron Patriot, Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, Loki, Spider-Man, MODOK, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, and more will star in the game.

Your saves from Disney Infinity on Xbox 360 or PS3 will transfer to the respective new consoles, Disney confirmed to IGN. All characters, Power Discs, and Toy Boxes from Disney Infinity 1.0 are compatible with 2.0, developer Avalanche confirmed. The Starter Pack comes with Thor, Black Widow, Iron Man, and a mysterious crystal shard piece, and discs that add dungeon-crawler and tower-defense game modes. Disney estimates that Disney Infinity will retail for $75 in a package that includes the Starter Pack.

More play sets, both Marvel and other Disney-themed characters, will come to Disney Infinity 2.0. 80 new Power Discs are coming, and bringing new features, such as team-ups. Source IGN
