Minecraft Denmark went through some trolling today, but you can rest assured the country took it in stride.
Fans posted this pic of a Danish city torn down and implanted with USA flags. However, don’t believe the hype.
As Denmark’s environment agency explained, only small parts of several cities were torn down, and when you think about it, that’s what you do in Minecraft. They are still assessing the degree to which that fans destroyed the cities, but they will be reconstructing at least Copenhagen.
Here’s the full statement from Denmark’s geodata agency:
We consider that as a nature of playing Minecraft – elements are broken down and new are being created.Therefore we will not reboot the demonstration of Denmark in Minecraft. But occasionally we will rebuild minor areas if buildings are removed and nothing new is being created.
We are very happy to see that so many players around the world is creating fancy nice things and have fun.
