There was recently a rumor in the Official Xbox Magazine suggesting that a Halo 2 remake might be in development by 343 Industries. Unfortunately, that does not seem to be the case. In a Q&A on Microsoft’s ExpertZone retail-only training site, a 343 Industries representative stated, “We are not working on that at this time. We are kind of busy.”
It looks like Halo 2 fans will have to go without their HD remake after all.
