Sony Online Entertainment has revealed that they’re almost ready to release the Hossin continent for Planetside 2. However, in the interests of their fans, they’ve decided to bring it out a little earlier than they would have had to.

Some context for non Planetside players: Hossin has been in the works for two years. Development actually started before the game was released! To make up for this long delay, SOE is planning either a beta or an ‘Early Expedition’, which seems like a rebranded Early Access. Whatever form it will take, Hossin will be joining new outfit functionalities in the game’s next big update. You can get the nitty gritty on the update here.
