Asia not holding up Diablo 3 release says Jay Wilson

Earlier today it was revealed that The Korean Game Rating Board had once again failed to rate Diablo 3 and there was speculation that this may be holding up the game’s release.
This evening game director Jay Wilson posted a Tweet which puts pay to the theory that the game’s rating in Korea is causing the release date issue.
“Asia is not what’s holding us back. You’ll see soon enough”
At this point in time we can only assume that any delay to the release date announcement is down to longer development time on game mechanics such as the rune system which Blizzard started to rework at the end of last year.
Watch out for more updates in the coming days, hopefully we’ll find out what they’ve been working on to cause the delay.
