For those of you that really got into the story of Warhammer: Chaosbane, there’s some good news for you today. The game and its tale are continuing on with the new Tomb Kings DLC. You can grab it and dive in right now.
Bigben Interactive and EKO Software confirmed the news today, with the expansion available for $9.99 over on Steam. The new trailer gives us a glimpse of what kind of new story players are in for.
What does Tomb Kings’ DLC provide?
In this new expansion, players will visit the Land of the Dead. It’s pretty much had it, with time not being kind to its lineage. You can thank Nagash for that, who decided to level it just because he’s an evil king and he can.
Now you, as the player, will get to visit this land, working with the Amethyst Order on an all-new quest. But as you journey, you’ll discover all sorts of dirty conspiracies surrounding Nagash, as well as the Tomb Kings.
Along with a new story arc, players will also come across all kinds of new enemies to challenge their skills. Make sure to prepare yourself well, as these will be some of the toughest opponents you’ve come across yet.
You’ll need to make your way across ten ancient Tombs in all in the land of Nehekhara. These will include environmental puzzles to solve, magisters of the Amethyst Order to encounter, and more. The real question is if you have the skills to survive the Land of the Dead — because most didn’t.
