Assassin’s Creed Rogue Will Have Eye Tracking On PC, Courtesy SteelSeries Sentry

Assassin’s Creed Rogue is getting an interesting feature that won’t be on other platforms: eye tracking via the SteelSeries Sentry.

The Sentry is basically a bar that attaches to your monitor, much like the Wii Sensor Bar or Kinect. Sentry compatibility means when you turn your head left and right, so will the screen, and when you turn your head away completely, the game will pause.

If you buy the SteelSeries Sentry now, you will also get a copy of the game for free, assuming you are one of the first 5000 who buy a unit. It’s not quite VR, but clearly, Ubisoft is already investigating the possibilities.

You can buy the Sentry and learn more about it here.
