Old Republic beta pulls two million players

BioWare’s Star Wars: The Old Republic apparently kept quite a few people from their Thanksgiving Day turkey, pulling in a total of more than two million players across the recent beta testing period. 750,000 of those people hopped on during Thanksgiving, averaging about 12 hours each across the holiday period (presumably that was defined as Thursday to Sunday). That is, according to statistics released by publishers EA.
Someone who’s been probably been averaging somewhat higher than that is IncGamers’ own Tim McDonald who’s been writing multiple previews about the game. Take your pick from the general preview, the character-specific preview (about the Sith Inquisitor) and a PvP preview (if you like competition and stuff in your MMOs).
If you read slowly enough, those might keep you going until 20 December, when Star Wars: The Old Republic launches.
