Oculus Countdown Clock Appears, E3 Event to Follow

The Oculus Rift consumer edition has only recently seen new light. There was a lot of skepticism regarding its price-point and general availability to wider audiences. The most recent news also comes at a time where Razer OSVR and other VR headsets taking their own stab at the market, including what we saw from Valve at GDC 2015. However, many simply wondered which direction either company was heading in concerning virtual reality.

Now, Oculus plans to kick off the week prior to E3 2015 with a live streaming event and a countdown clock appearing on the main US site. While the details are slim, the company has revealed some new branding, a few new images of the headset, but for the most part has the shades set to dark.
