Square has released the first PS3 screenshots for their RPG Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn which is due out on PC and PS3 next year.

The shots show for the first time the game’s interface to highlight the simplicity for the PS3 controller. The UI will be customisable and has been designed so that traditional Final Fantasy players can get to grips with it easily.
