RollerCoaster Tycoon World Headed to Steam Early Access

RollerCoaster Tycoon, the popular theme park simulator, is getting a facelift this year. RollerCoaster Tycoon World, the next installment in the series, will release under Steam Early Access on March 30, 2016. This will mark the first title from the series on PC in over a decade.

The decision to release the game through Early Access is so that fans could collaborate on the latest title, according to Atari. Fred Chesnais, Chief Executive Officer of Atari, said this on the idea:

The RollerCoaster Tycoon franchise is beloved by millions of fans worldwide, which is something we take very seriously. After careful consideration, the decision to go through the Steam Early Access program was made to ensure that we can get RollerCoaster Tycoon World in the hands of the dedicated fans that have followed us throughout the development process as soon as possible
