U.S. — AOC Releases a 144Hz 35-inch Curved Gaming Monitor

Curved monitors aren’t a new technology, but apparently AOC didn’t get the memo. The company has just released a 35-inch, 144Hz monitor tailored for gamers—the C3583FQ.

The monitor has some decent specs, sporting a resolution of 2560×1080 (21:9 aspect ratio), 4 response time, 300 cd/m2 brightness, and 50,000,0001:1 contrast ratio. In addition to that, the panel is VA with an LED backlight and 2000R curvature. It also has 5W speakers, two HDMI ports, two DisplayPorts and both DVI and VGA ports.

AOC explains,

“To envision the C3583FQ’s 2000R curvature, imagine making a circle of just C3583FQ monitors. The screens would be 6.5 feet away from a seat placed at the circle and the circle of monitors would have a diameter of 13 feet. “You can also watch 21:9 widescreen films and get a full 32-inch wide image with no black bars on the top or bottom.”

Not a bad package! The C3583FQ can be picked up on Amazon US for $600, or £423.42 on Amazon UK.
