Patching continues for SimCity this evening and in this update there’s a game crash fix, latency improvements and more. Having played for the past 6 hours non-stop we have had no issues today with the game, even the gift money bug appears to have been fixed. However, a lot of issues seem to dependent on individual servers. Here’s the notes…
This update to SimCity contains the following updates and fixes:
General
• This patch fixes an issue that was causing the game to crash.Server Improvements:
• Optimizations to improve latency. Region wall and city to city trading will be more responsive.
• Database optimizations that will improve the success rate for connections.
• Fixed an issue with rollbacks. Higher chance of success and less chance of getting in a rollback loop
