New Rock Of Ages Trailer Flattens The Renaissance

A new trailer for Rock of Ages has tumbled unstoppably towards us, crushing every piece of Renaissance artwork it can find.
As you’ll hopefully recall, Rock of Ages is the new project of Zeno Clash creators ACE Team in which fragile art-themed defenses attempt to stop the inevitable path of destruction caused by a huge boulder. In this footage (which owes more than a little to the Monty Python animations of Terry Gilliam,) some of Italy’s finest works are in the sights of a pleasingly smug rock.
Any trailer featuring a giant Michelangelo’s David having a ball fired at his, well, balls, is worth a look, surely? Click below to do so.
Rock of Ages is planned as a downloadable title for Xbox LIVE and PSN. Unconfirmed rumours of a PC release also abound.
