NCsoft have released a trailer for the launch of their free update to Aion. Called Assault on Balaurea, the add-on allows characters to align and fight off the advancing Balaur. New and updated instances have been promised as well as an increased level cap and also new weapons and items.

The add-on features added flight mechanics and the introduction of in-game pets that come equipped with “in-game benefits.”
It’s available as DLC from today but will also be available as box copy from 10 September.
