More Mass Effect To Come After Third Game

BioWare co-founder Greg Zeschuk has said Mass Effect 3’s closure of the trilogy does not necessarily mean we’ve seen the last of the universe.Speaking to Kotaku, Zeschuk said that Mass Effect is a “valuable universe” and that we’ll see more games set there.“We’re actually going to continue to use it for stuff and we’re going to continue to make games there,” Zeschuk said. “Believe me, we have our work cut out for us for the next little while getting Mass Effect 3 done after this.””Don’t worry if you love Mass Effect, there will be more Mass Effect in the future.”Still, that’s likely to be a way off as Mass Effect 2 has yet to be released and Mass Effect 3 is in the planning stages.Zeschuk also confirmed that Mass Effect 3 will feature the same save-game import feature as is present in Mass Effect 2, letting players port their save file from “one to two, two to three. […] Even to the point where some of the decisions you made in 1 you’ll see the result in 3.”Mass Effect 2 is due out on Xbox 360 and PC next week. Expect our full review towards the beginning of the week, and our review of Mass Effect 3 sometime over the next few years, with luck.If you’re not excited about Mass Effect 2, check out the full cinematic trailer to see why you should be.
