WoW Patch 3.3 Live

World of Warcraft’s long awaited patch 3.3, which finally opens the doors of IceCrown Citadel allowing players to face the Lich King, has hit US servers today and will be on European servers tonight.

The patch not only introduces the new IceCrown raid, it also brings in a new Looking For Group system, where players from other servers can join your team to make up the numbers. Groups will now automatically be teleported to instances once a group has been found, instead of waiting for two members to fly there to summon the rest.

A new built-in quest tracker that places markings on the map to indicate where players should go to kill certain mobs or speak to NPCs will also come with this patch, mimicking the well-known addon, QuestHelper.
