Paradox finally release some new Cities: Skylines screens to impress city builder fans.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen any new visuals from Paradox and Colossal Order’s upcoming city builder but they’ve broken silence and released a couple of new screenshots.

The first shot shows a working airport as planes line up and come in to land. The second takes a closer look at the UI and the property information boxes which you’ll need to keep an eye on if the neighbourhood starts to go downhill.

CO also explained how the zoning will function:

When you zone an area, you choose between low and high density (provided you already unlocked the high density zones). When some conditions are met, like educated citizens and high land value for instance (but not only), the buildings in the zone upgrade. The consequences are different for industrial, commercial and residential zones of course but overall, the buildings have better results for the city and for the citizens.

Development by the small team at CO appears to be going well, and if you missed the recent AMA with the devs, then give that a read because it contains most things gamers will want to know about Cities: Skylines.
