Evolve’s big alpha test arrives for Halloween but limited numbers for PC

Turtle Rock will be inviting PC gamers to join the Evolve hunt at the end of the month.

They’re calling this the “big alpha” which will stress test the game, and PC gamers will be able to play between 30 October and 2 November. It sounds like Xbone gamers will be getting preferential treatment as their test starts a day earlier and there will be  “limited numbers” of alpha slots available to PC players.

If you really, really, want to play over Halloween the there’s always the option to pre-order to guarantee a slot. There’s also the following notice which may help if you’ve not signed up already but there’s no guarantee this will secure a plave on the test.

Here’s a handy step-by-step guide for your shot at the Evolve Big Alpha:

1. Go to EvolveGame.com/BigAlpha

2. Enter this code: 11197-10708-89072 (It is a multi-use code, act fast!)

3. Enter your name and email confirmation

4. Select your platform preference

If you did it in time, you will see a message saying that you successfully registered for a chance to participate in the Big Alpha.

Worth a shot if you fancy taking this for a spin over Halloween.
