Dragon Age Keep is now in open beta

BioWare has announced that the Dragon Age Keep is now in open beta, and is now accessible for all. To get in, all you need to do is head over to the Dragon Age Keep site, log in with your Origin account, and you should be good to go. Obviously that means you’ll need an Origin account of some kind too.

The doors being flung open was confirmed on twitter by the official Dragon Age Keep account a few minutes ago:

This is consistent with the live-stream announcement a couple of weeks back which said open beta would begin on 29 October.

The Dragon Age Keep is BioWare’s new system of setting up the ‘world state’ for Dragon Age: Inquisition. Rather than carry over saved games from prior Dragon Age titles (which you may have played on a range of platforms,) you can instead go through a series of tarot-card styled choices and set up the world just as you want it to be for Inquisition.

This also means if you weren’t all that happy with one or two choices you made in a play-through from the previous games, you can now just rectify this. You can also easily set-up some hypothetical situations without having to play right through a pair of hefty Dragon Age RPGs.

When Dragon Age: Inquisition is released on 18/20 November, you’ll be able to import ‘world states’ to the game from the Keep.
