We suspected Diablo 3 would be left out of the reveals this year and now we know.
Blizzard has been getting ready for BlizzCon and been firing out emails to press regarding major events to watch out for at the show. We now know that Diablo 3 is not a priority this year with the main panels being focused firmly on the Warcraft movie, Heroes of the Storm and Starcraft 2.
StarCraft 2 makes sense following their audio teases this week and now that the movie filming is complete they now have more to show.
Diablo 3 will only have a couple of panels this year, a “What’s next” with the Reaper of Souls developers and “Evolving the Reaper of Souls”. With major updates having recently launched for the ARPG there’s no doubt Diablo 3 is in a much better place than it was at launch but it would have been great to have seen another major announcement.
IncGamers will heading to BlizzCon this week and we’ll be making sure we squeeze as much Diablo 3 information as we can from the development team dueing our interview sessions. We will of course also be checking out the rest of the action direct from the convention floor
