GOG giving away Little Big Adventure

If you fancy getting your hands on Little Big Adventure, GOG are giving it away for free this weekend.

It’s all part of a “Vive la France” celebration. No, it has nothing to do with Assassin’s Creed Unity: it’s just that GOG have completely localised the store into French, so the weekend is offering discounts on 30 games developed or published by French studios. This means bits and pieces like Another World, Fahrenheit / Indigo ProphecySyberia, and Aarklash Legacy have been pretty heavily discounted.

Little Big Adventure is an incredibly weird third-person puzzle/action/adventure game, in which you play Twinsen, a chappy who’s having apocalyptic dreams – and because of those dreams, he’s been imprisoned by the tyrannical Dr. Funfrock. It’s pretty good, if you can put up with some interface quirks! And yes, the first time I heard of Little Big Planet, I actually assumed it was a reboot/expansion of this series. And then I was sad.

If you want to grab your free copy of Little Big Adventure just head over to the GOG storefront and scroll down. Equally, if you want to check out the list of discounts, click here.
