Paradox and Obsidian have announced that Pillars of Eternity will be launching on 26 March.
Pillars of Eternity is Obsidian’s old-school Kickstarted RPG, taking inspiration from titles like Baldur’s Gate and Planescape: Torment and raising a rather nifty $4.5 million USD from backers. As its description includes the words “Obsidian” and “RPG”, we’re really quite excited by it.
In honour of this feat, Josh Sawyer – the game’s project director – will be streaming some brand new content, to show off what’s been done since the backer beta. If you want to watch that, it’ll be on https://www.twitch.tv/paradoxinteractive at 9pm GMT/1pm PST on 15 January. I probably won’t be watching it, because I’d really like to go into Pillars of Eternity totally fresh.
And I don’t have to wait too long to do that! 26 March, everyone. Pillars of Eternity. Not long at all.
