Turbine has announced that Bullroarer, the test server for Lord of the Rings Online, will be hosting the test version of Book 8, the next update for the MMO, from Thursday 21 May.
The testing begins at 19:00 EDT (GMT -04:00), and players logging on at that time will be placed in a queue. The new Summer Festival will be available to try out and developers will be on hand to help players find everything they should. An announcement will be made in-game within the first hour of testing regarding the epic storyline and the opening of Book 8.
Anyone wanting to take part should have the test client installed and ready to go by the appointed time tomorrow. Download the client from Turbine here. Players on the Meneldor server will have pre-made copies of their characters already on Bullroarer.
