How does Jingle Jam work in Monopoly GO?

The Jingle Jam event is a tournament in Monopoly GO. Once you’ve earned five points, you’ll be thrown into a group with 49 other players to compete for rankings in the tournament. Your place is determined by your points, which will determine your reward when it ends.

In a tournament, you’ll be trying to earn points to increase your placement. The higher your place when the tournament ends, the more rewards you’ll earn. This is done through striking and robbing other players, so only the most competitive will win!

Along the way, you’ll earn milestone rewards, just like in the milestone events. There are 30 thresholds to reach, with the rewards getting better and better. The grand prize is a whopping 1,800 Free Rolls.

How to earn points in Jingle Jam in Monopoly GO

To earn points in the Jingle Jam Tournament, you’ll need to land on a Railway Tile and perform one of the following actions:

  • Blocked Shutdown = 2 points.
  • Successful Shutdown = 4 points.
  • Small Heist = 8 points.
  • Large Heist = 12 points.
  • Bankrupt! = 16 points.

The points you earn here will be multiplied by your dice multiplier, so you’ll need to be rolling high to get to the top spots.

You’ll notice that this event is handing out double the points for Heisting! So I hope you get those more often than usual.

Best way to win Jingle Jam in Monopoly GO

Considering this is a Monopoly GO event, your success here is entirely dependent on the luck of the dice. You’ll have to hope that the dice roll you to a Railway Tile, and you’ll have to hope that you perform and guess well. However, there are certain strategies you can employ to improve your chances.

It may be beneficial to only up the dice multiplier when you have a better chance of actually landing on a Railway Tile. Statistically, this is unpredictable, but you can tell if you’re a little far away or too close to realistically roll those numbers.

Also, with the Shutdowns, you can switch your opponents. Keep switching until you find someone already hit hard, as it’s likely they are without their shield. Try to find the most beat-up, and kick them whilst they’re down.

When it comes to Bank Heists, there are certain patterns I’ve noticed that have served me rather well. Take note of these, and you should see your win rate improving. No promises, but they’ve worked for me.

You’ve got two days, so don’t stress yourself out too much and allow Free Rolls from other events to fuel your dice multiplier.

How long will Jingle Jam last for in Monopoly GO?

The Jingle Jam Tournament will last for two days this time, ending on the 22nd at 1:00 ET, giving you extra time to reach the top spots. This also gives other players more time to try and out-rank you, so you’ll have to keep up the points to stay on top.

Now that you’ve got this insane tournament down, why don’t you see if you’re up to date with the Golden Blitz events?
