Don't fully rely on luck!

Monopoly GO is a fast-paced mobile adaptation of the Monopoly board game. One of the most exciting things to happen in-game is triggering a heist, as it has the most potential to make you lots of money.

But it’s entirely random, right? Well, strangely, there have been lots of cases of specific patterns being formed that I’ve seen and noted down with my own eyes. Here are the best bank heist patterns for Monopoly GO.

Most successful patterns for the bank heist in Monopoly GO

In Monopoly GO, the bank heists are the most profitable event for you to land on. You’ll get to steal potentially millions from another player. There is a 4-by-3 grid of vault doors, and, like a scratch card, you must open three of one type of icon to match its jackpot. It may seem like this is entirely randomized, but I have observed two patterns that come up most of the time.

A quick disclaimer — this won’t work all of the time, naturally. And sometimes the rings won’t line up in any distinguishable pattern at all. However, by abiding by these patterns, we raise the odds in our favor by a little bit, which is a lot better than not at all!

The L-Shape Pattern for the Bank Heist

The first pattern that I always go for is the L-shape. No matter what orientation, the L-shape has come up a staggering amount of times. I start in the middle row and open the left and right vault. From there, there is typically a ring, and I carefully open the vaults around it, trying to create an L-shape. Most of the time, this works for me.

The second resort, if it isn’t looking like the L-shape is appearing, is to use the pattern pictured above. At this point, it isn’t looking great for me, as I have only opened one ring and three other vaults. So, abandoning the one ring I’ve uncovered, I will open another vault in the hopes of finding some iteration of the above pattern, in any orientation. A lot of the time, this pattern saves me.

As aforementioned, this doesn’t work all the time, as luck is still a large factor. However, I can’t not share this tactic that I’ve found that has earned me the Mega Heist numerous times.

I wish you the best of luck when trying out these patterns! For more Monopoly GO help, swing by PC Invasion.
