How does the Olympian Odyssey tournament work in Monopoly GO?

For the uninitiated, the Olympian Odyssey event is a tournament. Upon earning five points, you’ll be drafted into a group of 49 other active players where you’ll all be fighting for first place. As you all earn points, you’ll all be ranked in placements, and you’ll earn the respective rewards when the event ends.

The competition will be fierce, especially considering it will last for two days. So you’ll have until December 1 to get as high of a place as you can.

To get points, you’ll need to perform one of the following actions upon landing on a Railway Tile:

  • Blocked Shutdown = 2 points.
  • Successful Shutdown = 4 points.
  • Small Heist = 8 points.
  • Large Heist = 12 points.
  • Bankrupt = 16 points.

The points you earn are multiplied by your current dice multiplier, so the higher you roll, the higher you’ll earn. This will be crucial for getting any of the top spots. Also, you may notice that all Heist point yields are doubled this time around!

Along the way, you’ll be earning milestone rewards as you hit certain amounts of points. This way, even if you don’t rank very well due to determined competitors, you will still get rewarded well.
