All secret bunny locations in Animal Well

If you’re a fan of secret hunting and replaying a game over and over again, Animal Well will be the game for you. After the game is over, there are many hidden things to find, including the various Animal Well secret bunny locations.

20 secret bunny locations

Okay, so not all 20 have been found yet, but we’re working on it. So far, these are what we have managed to find around the game. More will be added as they’re found. The game’s sole developer, Billy Basso, has been incredibly thorough with his hiding of the various secret bunnies in Animal Well. Some of them have been found by accident.

To start finding the secret bunnies, you must have finished the game and seen the credits roll. You will also have to have collected at least 32 of the hidden eggs in the game.

In this guide, I will regularly refer to the flute. The notes will be denoted by numbers, with 1 being right, 2 being right-down, 3 being down, and so on.

Secret Bunny #1

Secret Bunny number one is indicative of just how complex the Animal Well puzzles are. When you find the large bunny mural just to the right of the flames room, you should notice a huge bunny mural on the wall. Here, you need to use the remote and access the control panel that appears. Create the image below.

What made this bunny so hard to find was that the secret lay in fifty different players’ puzzle pieces. Every player gets a different puzzle piece that fits together using a code. Only after a ton of players came together on Discord was the puzzle actually figured out. Even Billy Basso, the creator, submitted his own to the mix.

Secret Bunny #2

Head to this location in Animal Well and play the following tune on your flute: 18131441. This will reveal the Secret Bunny location.

Secret bunny #4

The next bunny is probably the one most of you will just find by playing Animal Well. It is located in the marked area of the map, below the egg room.

Secret Bunny #5

Secret Bunny number 4 can be found by using this teleport tune on your flute: 67234353. Play this and be magically teleported to the next bunny.

Secret Bunny #7

This wacky little guy can only be seen with the UV Lantern and can be found by waiting near the telephone in the flame room. Stay there with your UV light on, and the secret bunny will come running by for you to capture in Animal Well.

Secret Bunny #8

This one will require you to head left from the flame beacon’s room and into a room with a large neon fish on the wall. Again, using the UV light, you will reveal a flute code to play. The code is 55218558 and it will open up a new door to go through and capture the next secret bunny in Animal Well.

Secret Bunny #9

Head to the area marked on the map to find one of the blue ghosts floating around. Don’t kill it with firecrackers. Instead, play your flute in a perfect clockwise motion. This will turn the ghost into another secret bunny in Animal Well.

Secret Bunny #10

This Secret Bunny will require you to listen to the crows in the marked room and copy them with your flute. It may take a few attempts, but you’ll get it.

Secret Bunny #11

Head right from the flame beacon save telephone until you find a duck. Play 73735151 on your flute to reveal yet another hidden secret bunny in Animal Well.

Secret Bunny #12

This is another beautiful addition to Animal Well by its inventive creator. If you leave your little blob to fall asleep by not moving it will eventually start to dream. Of course, it dreams of the secret rabbits. Use your bubble wand to quickly jump up to the dream and catch it before your dream fades away.

Secret Bunny #13

This one is exceptionally long and complex. It will involve you getting into the room with the bulb murals and getting an eight-digit code to play on your flute. Thankfully, I have it here. Simply play 1357 1368 1357 2468 on your flute to warp to the next secret rabbit location in Animal Well.

Secret Bunny #14

This secret bunny in Animal Well is insane, and the player who found it either deserves an award or to be institutionalized. This is going to be complicated and take a lot of skill, so be prepared. First, head to this location on the map. Make sure all the switches are facing right; this will open a new route in the room with the three dogs.

The secret to finding this bunny is not touching the floor for the whole journey you’re about to make through the Animal Well level. First, head right and jump over the pit of dogs using your Bubble Wand. Then, head through to the dog bowl room, throwing your Top to distract the dogs. Use your Bubble Wand to cross this and then up through the wider of the two ceiling gaps.

From here, head through the hole in the roof, use the Remote to switch the walls, and then drop back down. Now, continue right and use the lantern to ensure the ghost doesn’t get you. If you have done this all correctly there will be a new gap opened up in which you will find secret bunny number 12 in Animal Well.

Secret Bunny #16

The lazy bunny loves to watch TV, so at the end of the game, head to the house to grab it. Warp to the house with 26262626, and then play 86427531 on your flute to capture this secret bunny.

Origami Rabbit #17

This is, by far, one of the most convoluted of the secret rabbit locations in Animal Well. Even now it is creating a lot of frustration and confusion amongst the secret finders out there. To find this bunny, you need to get to the computer at the end of the game. Here, you will be prompted to plug in a printer, which is a little bit of a struggle with anything other than a PC.

Animal Well will then send a print job to your Printer, resulting in the plans to make an origami bunny. Put this together to reveal a code. If you can’t either be bothered or physically do this, then the code is 18756753.

Head back to the room with the dog bowl from Secret Bunny #14 and play the tune. It will reveal both the new secret rabbit and a figurine to collect in Animal Well.

Secret Bunny #18

Remember the ghost cat and its disk? Well, it’s time for round two. Head to the mock disk area, which is marked on this map.

Grab the disk and use the warp room code (11553377) to get out of there as quickly as possible. Now, just straight into the mouth of the bear to use this warp. From here, quickly follow this route to find the next secret bunny in Animal Well. The dog will ignore you while you’re here, but you’re going to have to return the mock disk as soon as you pick the rabbit up.

Secret Bunny #20

This one takes a Frizbee professional to capture and will probably drive you to despair. At the top left of the map, you will find a huge lake. Bubble Wand into the ceiling of this to reach the room with the three levels of spike floor. The entrance is hidden in the ceiling. Now for the hard part.

You will need to disc surf by throwing the frisbee at the peak of your jump. This will allow you to immediately surf it over the spikes. Do this for all three of the alternating spike floors to reach the top, where you will find this secret bunny in Animal Well.
