Call of Duty is introducing a whole new mechanic to Warzone that players can use to earn all sorts of new loot easily. By landing as a squad, rewards are given that can give you that all-important edge in Call of Duty: Warzone.
How to get Squad Assemble bonuses in Call of Duty: Warzone
Landing with your friends in Warzone is always the move anyway. You should look to get as close together as possible as fast as possible. This gives you and your squad much more chance of survival in those initial minutes of gameplay.
However, playing with randoms often results in some maverick going it alone and dying miles from anyone else. With the new Squad Assemble perk, hopefully, people will be more willing to earn the squad landing rewards rather than go it alone in Warzone.
To earn them you must land together on a single point. To earn even more landing rewards in Warzone, land on a player’s ping. The rewards are as follows:
- Full Squad Landing (Quads): All four Operators’ landing radii overlap in Warzone with at least one other.
- Full Squad Landing (Trios): All three Operators’ landing radii overlap with at least one other.
- Two Half Squad Landing (Quads): Two pairs of Operators land separately, with each pair’s landing radius overlapping.
- Majority Squad Landing (Quads): Three of the four Operators land with overlapping radii, and one Operator lands separately.
- Majority Squad Landing (Trios): Two of the three Operators land with overlapping radii, and one Operator lands separately.
- Duo Squad Landing (Duos): For Duos, both squadmates need to land with their radii overlapping.
Squad Landing rewards
With the new update, landing with your squad in Warzone is worth it. Not only do you have more people watching your back, but the rewards are a massive early-game boost. Everyone wants their load-outs quickly, and I will always gravitate towards a bounty simply for the Radar ping. Now, with the rewards available, dropping as a squad is just as profitable.
- Mark the Landing Destination: Each squad member receives XP if any teammate pings the location where you land before the first squad member touches the ground.
- Full Squad Landing (Quads, Trios): Land as a full squad for a sizeable XP and Cash bonus, as well as a Supply UAV.
- Majority Squad Landing (Quads, Trios): Land with two other Warzone members (Quads) or one other member (Trios) for a reasonably high XP and Cash bonus and a Supply UAV.
- Half Squad or Duo Squad Landing (Quads, Duos): Land with one other teammate (Quads) or land with your teammate (Duos) and both of you receive a modest Warzone XP and Cash bonus.
