Anaconda Escape answers, password, and key location in Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth

Blast through this substory with the right answers

One of the earliest substories in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is Anaconda Escape, a reality show that Ichiban somehow gets dragged into while working on much more important things. In this game, you’ll need to answer trivia questions about the Anaconda Shopping Center to win.

The problem is, the game doesn’t give you much time to explore the Anaconda Shopping Center before shoving you into Anaconda Escape, so you might not be familiar with the shops and stores throughout the mall before starting this substory. You don’t need to answer all the questions, but they’ll net you a nice bundle of cash to give you a headstart on gear in the early hours of the game.

When exploring the mall for Anaconda Escape, you can find two laptops with quiz questions about the Anaconda Shopping Center. The first laptop is located right in front of you at the start of the minigame. It asks “True or False: Treasure Select Pawn is located on the 2nd floor of the Anaconda Shopping Center?” The answer is true.

The second laptop is located on the left-hand side of the plaza. It asks you “What Kind of Establishment is Thorstone?” The answer is a hat shop. You’ll get a password (8931) for successfully answering this question. This password is used to open the red crate tucked against a wall in the plaza with the palm trees and patrolling enemies.

How to Open the Blue Chest

Continuing through the mall and moving away from the plaza, you’ll find yourself in a smaller walkway with blue pillars and plants in the center. There are benches next to the blue pillars, and underneath one of them is an item that you can collect. This is the blue key required to open the blue crate near the end of the minigame. The key is marked on your map with a blue dot if you’re having trouble finding it.

The blue crate can be found by turning right once you find the escalators at the end of the walkway. It’s in front of the pawn shop and there are tables with red umbrellas in front of it. Make sure you don’t go down the escalator just yet because that will end the Anaconda Escape minigame.

After collecting the reward from the blue crate, you’re free to leave since there’s nothing left to collect. Once you exit, you’ll get the best possible reward for Anaconda Escape: two Silver Plates. You can sell these at any pawn shop (like the one you just walked by) for $100 each, which is a solid chunk of change for the beginning of the game.

This is the only time you can play Anaconda Escape but Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has a ton of other minigames and substories that you can encounter when exploring the streets of Honolulu, Isezaki Ijincho, or Kamurocho. After all, it is a pretty lengthy game. Most of them are much more straightforward than this, however. Substories are a great way to increase Ichiban’s personality stats, but if you need an even bigger boost to Passion, Confidence, or any other personality stats, you can take quizzes at the Ounabara Vocational School.
