The Symphony of the Realms is a concert that will feature the OST from Baldur’s Gate 3 by composer Borislav Slavov.

Game Music Festival will feature Baldur’s Gate 3 soundtrack in a live concert

On May 4, 2024, this Game Music Festival will hold The Symphony of the Realms, a live concert with music right from Baldur’s Gate 3. It will happen in London at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall. This game-of-the-year contender and its incredible soundtrack will definitely be a sight to see, or should I say a performance to hear, live on stage.

Announced through a post on Twitter/X, tickets for the Game Music Festival vol. 5 are on sale now for this show May 2024 show. Not only is Baldur’s Gate 3 getting a concert, but The Last of Us as well. Here’s what the website has to say about The Symphony of the Realms:

The soundtrack, composed by Borislav Slavov, is a multi-faceted melodic prism, encompassing a variety of musical possibilities within itself. Beguiling vocal fragments and ethereal melodies are intertwined with epic battle themes and choral sections, creating a diverse weave of sounds, fit for a world on the brink of change.

It should be noted that Borislav Slavov won’t be conducting this concert himself. That duty will be left in the capable hands of Maestro Robert Kurdybacha. Having nearly 170 artists and musicians on stage from the Philharmonia Orchestra and Hertfordshire Chorus, this sounds like it’ll be quite the performance. The show will run for around an hour and 20 minutes.

Sadly, it’s only happening in London, so if you don’t live nearby, you’d have to travel far to see the show. Having played through the entire campaign of Baldur’s Gate 3, I can say for certain that this OST will sound amazing in person. Just imagine hearing Raphael’s Final Act live, one of the best boss themes I’ve heard in awhile.
