What are the rarest and easiest to miss weapons and items in Baldur’s Gate 3?

Scornz on Reddit has highlighted a few easiest missable and rare weapons and items in Baldur’s Gate 3. Since my current party is being as thorough as we can, I’ve stumbled upon a few of these myself, but admittedly, they are all very hard to discover much like the Mourning Frost.

The eight weapons and items Scornz chose to highlight are as follows:

  • Club of Hill Giant Strength – 1-4 bludgeoning damage. Splinters of a Giant’s Might: Increases Strength to 19.
  • Spineshudder Amulet – Crackling Resonance: When the wearer deals damage with a Ranged Spell Attack, inflict two Reverberation upon the target.
  • Bonspike Gloves – Exoskeletal Resistance: Your attacks ignore Resistance to Slashing, Piercing, and Bludgeoning damage.
  • Svartlebee’s Woundseeker – 3-13 slashing damage. Deepen the Wound: The wielder gains a +1d4 bonus to Attack Rolls with this weapon when attacking creatures that have already taken damage.
  • Amulet of Silvanus – Lesser Restoration
  • Smuggler’s Ring – +2 Stealth, +2 Sleight of Hand, -1 Charisma
  • Ring of Poison Resistance – Grants Resistance to Poison damage.
  • Worgfang – 1-4 piercing damage. Goblin’s Undoing: Goblins have Disadvantage on Attack Rolls against the wielder.

Club of Hill Giant Strength isn’t that great for combat, but it’s great to equip when you want to immediately acquire a lot of Strength. This weapon is gained from destroying a wooden stool on the top floor of the Arcane Tower in the Underdark in Act 1.

Spineshudder Amulet is a great amulet that I’m personally interested in getting since I am playing a DPS spellcaster. I haven’t personally found it, and Scornz said they found it by one-shotting the mimic chest in Ketheric Thorm’s bedroom in Moonrise Towers which is in Act 2. To one-shot the chest, he placed a bunch of explosive barrels around it, stood back, and blew them up. This amulet was the reward.

Bonespike Gloves are actually found in Act 3 which makes sense because they are ridiculously strong. Usually, enemies who have resistance to slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning damage render all melee and archers useless; these gloves negate that. These gloves are found on Strangler Luke’s body. You encounter him as you try to cross the bridge to get to the Temple of Bhaal and fight the Farslayer of Bhaal Ghislev. The trick here is you have to loot Strangler Luke during the fight because after it’s over, the body disappears.

Svartlebee’s Woundseeker is a really great early-game sword. It basically gives you a free Bardic Inspiration whenever you hit a damaged enemy. When freeing the trapped people in Wuakeen’s Rest in Act 1, you get Svartlebee’s Woundseeker by using the Command Drop spell on Gauntlet Yeva.

Amulet of Silvanus is just okay, but it is a rare item that is difficult to find. If you want to get it, you need to move a rock found in the Druid Grove in Act 1 out of the way. The coordinates are X: 263 Y:480.

I think the Smuggler’s Ring is incredibly good, especially if you’re playing a Rogue. It is found in Act 1 at the coordinates X: 58 Y: 515. You’ll need to defeat some Hyenas first and climb down some vines to find it.

Ring of Poison Resistance is a nice one to have as you never know when you’ll encounter poison enemies. It’s found in a sarcophagus in front of the prison room in the Goblin Camp in Act 1.

Worgfang definitely isn’t the best weapon in Baldur’s Gate 3, but it is useful against goblins. You’ll find it in the Shattered Sanctum in Act 1 where the Worgs are caged and you find Halsin. It’s in a pile of bones in a cell.
