Diablo 4: Best Barbarian Build for The Pit of Artificers

Contrary to my own desire to use the Hammer of the Ancients build for the fifth time in a row, the best Barbarian build for Season 4 and The Pit of Artificers is the Double Swing Barbarian. This build combines crowd-control abilities, a decent amount of mobility, and increased damage output thanks to the Barbarian’s ability and the Windlasher Aspect which will allow your Dust Devil to deal with mobs and provide a necessary AoE attack buff.

As a rule of thumb, use your Cries to use Berserk and improve your defenses, continue using Double Swing as your main attack and Leap as a way to evade and escape your enemies if in trouble – while also dealing a bit of damage. To improve your Berserking chops, I would recommend aiming to collect the Tuskhelm of Joritz the Mighty Uber Unique, which will help with damage output, cooldown reduction, and Fury generation.

As you can see, this is a very straightforward build that any player can pick up and learn quite fast. However, Barbarians are eclipsed in the Diablo 4 class meta in favor of the Necromancers or even Druids. So, while giving our favorite tanky characters a chance in Season 4: Loot Reborn is still a good option, I would certainly think about letting other classes lead you throughout The Pit and your Masterworking materials.
