If there is a particular Diablo 4 class I’m very fond of is the Barbarian. Furthermore, if there is a build that I’ve found I cannot live without, it is the Hammer of the Ancients build. Now, combine it with the absurd might of the Charge skill and you have a Charge HotA build that will maul all of the enemies that lurk within The Gauntlet.
With the use of the Rallying Cry, you will also get a valuable Movement Speed bonus that will get you out of trouble whenever necessary and also allow you to deal as much damage as possible in the shortest amount of time. Since The Gauntlet will feature Level 100+ enemies – which will arguably require you to get to Level 100 – then getting Uber Uniques will turn the tide of the battle in your favor.
Uber Uniques such as Tibault’s Will, Banished Lord’s Talisman, and Tuskhelm of Joritz the Mighty, among others.
Charge Hammer of the Ancients Gauntlet Build: Skill Bar
- Charge: Become Unstoppable and rush forward, pushing enemies with you then swinging through them for 250% damage and Knocking them Back.
- Hammer of the Ancients: Slam your hammer down with the fury of the Ancients, dealing 50% damage to a concentrated area.
- Rallying Cry: Bellow a rallying cry, increasing your Movement Speed by 30%[+] and Resource Generation by 40%[x] for 6.5 seconds, and Nearby allies for 3.2 seconds.
- War Cry: Bellow a mighty war cry, increasing your damage dealt by 15.0%[x] for 6.5 seconds, and Nearby allies for 3.2 seconds.
- Challenging Shout: Taunt Nearby enemies and gain a 40% Damage Reduction for 6.48 seconds.
- Wrath of the Berserker: Explode into rage, Knocking Back surrounding enemies and gaining Berserking and Unstoppable for 5 seconds. For the next 10 seconds, dealing direct damage with Basic Skills grants Berserking for 5 seconds.
- Unconstrained: Increase Berserking’s maximum duration by 5 seconds and increase its damage bonus to 100%[x].
