Which items should you sell in Dave the Diver?
Knowing which items you should sell or which you should keep can be quite the dilemma. In Dave the Diver, there are dozens of items you can find while diving, whether they be random valuables or crafting materials. Overall, the best items to sell in Dave the Diver are valuables.
What do I mean by this? If the description of the item says it would be great to sell, that means you should sell it to Cobra. You’ll unlock Cobra’s Premium Shop after you complete the quest ‘Where the Current Flows’. Anytime you’re on your boat, talk with Cobra, and you can buy and sell items through him.

Items like Silver Bowls, Pearls, and Gold Bars are highly valuable, and don’t have other purposes besides selling them. The Silver Bowl is only around 50 gold, while the Pearl is 100, and the Large Gold Bar is a whopping 500 gold.
Sometimes, if you’re low on gold and need the money, fish drops are good to sell. These are items that fish drop that aren’t meat. For example, you can sell teeth, thorns, tentacles, or fish bones you get from diving. The Tiger Shark Tooth itself is 200 gold, which is quite a good price. The only issue with these items is that sometime during chapter two, you’ll unlock weapon upgrades, which require certain fish drops.

Items that you should keep are fish, seasonings, crafting materials, and anything that you need for Ecology Research. There are certain items in Dave the Diver that you can collect to send off for research, which will grant you points. If you earn enough, you’ll receive a Charm as a reward. Otherwise, fish and seasonings never rot, so keep stock of those. And of course, anything that you can use to either craft or upgrade something should stay in your inventory.
